Há um fio de água que desce o xisto até ao rio. A vinha vive do que ele deixa — quase nada, e chega.
A thread of water runs down the schist to the river. The vines live on what it leaves behind — almost nothing, and it is enough. The estate is named after it.

A enóloga — the winemaker
3.ª geração · na adega desde 2001
Assumiu a adega no ano em que o avô deixou de conseguir subir à Costa do Vento. Não comprou um hectare; não vendeu um hectare. Mudou uma coisa: o vinho passou a esperar dois invernos na garrafeira antes de sair.
Vinifica cada parcela em separado, no lagar de granito de 1953, e junta-as uma vez por ano, em março — um único vinho, um único lote.
Third generation. Five parcels fermented apart in the granite lagar, blended once a year in March. Nothing bought, nothing sold, nothing added.

There is no shop. There is a list, one letter a year, and 350 cases.
